Wellness Exams and Vaccinations

We have all the vaccinations needed to help keep your pets healthy while living in Ohio. Have a discussion with one of our doctors to see which vaccinations are recommended for your pets’ individual lifestyle.

In-House Lab Work

Here at Linworth Animal Hospital we offer a comprehensive range of inhouse diagnostic services to quickly identify health concerns and provide effective treatment in a timely manner.

Digital Radiology

Provides radiographs within minutes for fast accurate images, and the ability to consult with Board Certified Radiologists for expert interpretation.

Outpatient Ultrasonography

Ultrasound is a painless, non-invasive means of obtaining detailed images of internal structures, organs, and blood flow, as well as guide diagnostic tissue sampling, allowing for clearer diagnoses and more effective treatment options. Linworth Animal Hospital proudly partners with Board Certified Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist Dr. Cory Brown of VetScan Mobile for scheduled ultrasounds performed here in hospital.

Dentistry

Dental hygiene can play a much bigger role in your pet’s overall health than expected, as the health of your mouth can have a direct connection with the overall health of organs/body systems. Here at Linworth we recommend regular dental cleanings, to scale, clean, and polish both above and below the gum line to flush out harmful bacteria. Our skilled doctors are equipped to handle necessary extractions ranging from routine to complicated.

Soft Tissue Surgery

Our veterinarians are highly skilled surgeons, offering a range of soft tissue surgical procedures, including (but not limited to) Ovariohysterectomy, Castration, Laceration and wound repair, Enucleation, Cystotomy, and Gastropexy.

Prescription Diets

Prescription diets are formulated with specific ingredients and nutrients that are tailored to the needs of specific conditions. Our veterinarian’s partner with Hills & Royal Canin to provide you with the best foods to help your pets wellness.

Convenient Online Pharmacy

Utilize our online pharmacy to easily and quickly have your pets’ medications and prescription diets conveniently delivered right to your home and take advantage of auto ship savings.

End-of-Life Care and Euthanasia

Approaching end of life with our beloved pets can be incredibly difficult to navigate, and you don’t have to do it alone. Our caring staff and doctors are here to assist you and your pet every step of the way with compassion, respect, and guidance. Should you choose humane euthanasia, we will be here to help provide the peaceful and dignified passing your pet deserves. Linworth Animal Hospital also partners with Lap of Love for 24/7 Hospice care and In-Home euthanasia.

Kathy Sheridan, DVM

Hospital Director

Dr. Kathy Sheridan joined the Linworth Animal Hospital family in May of 2008. She is a member of the AVMA and the OVMA. After graduating from The Ohio State University in 2005, Dr. Sheridan practiced medicine at a small animal hospital in Westerville.

Originally from Bellefontaine, Ohio, Teresa is the daughter of veterinarian Tim Tillman.

Lisa West

Registered Veterinary Technician/Front Office Manager

Lisa joined the staff of Linworth Animal Hospital in March 1999. She is a graduate of Columbus State Community College, having graduated summa cum laude with an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology. She also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, with a major in Animal Science from the Ohio State University in 1997.

Joanna Schwartz

Head Registered Veterinary Technician

Joanna graduated from Columbus State Community College in 1997. She is a registered veterinary technician with the state of Ohio. She began working at Linworth Animal Hospital in the fall of 1995 with the responsibilities of evening and weekend care of our hospitalized animals. She has been a full-time registered veterinary technician with Linworth since June of 2000. Joanna enjoys many outdoor activities, and traveling to warm places whenever possible.

Beth Fagan

Registered Veterinary Technician

Beth joined our team in February 2008. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Denver, Colorado, in March 2007, with an associate of applied science degree. She is a registered technician in the states of Ohio and Colorado, as well as a national board-certified technician.
